I grew up on an Island off of Prince Rupert on the North Coast of British Columbia. My parents and my community instilled in me a love of nature, and I feel energized being with the ocean or in coastal temperate rainforests. After a stint of living in the Okanagan desert I have moved back to the ocean and live in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island. I am excited to share my love for the outdoors, community building, fat positivity, and inclusion!
I look forward to meeting you and spending time outside!

Hi, I’m Ally. I recently moved to Nanaimo with my pup Canna after living most my life in the small remote town of Prince Rupert. I am active, adventurous and love connecting with people. I enjoy hiking, biking, kayaking and swimming and feel most at home being on the coast and surrounded by nature. I also enjoy listening to music, following bands and going to shows. When I’m not busy working multiple jobs, completing course work and volunteering, I like to spend time with friends and family, walk my dog, bake and entertain, travel far and wide, follow current events and learn more about the world and our places in it.
The discovery of FGH through Dana Falsetti’s work has been nothing less than a complete liberation of self. I feel so fortunate to be able to connect with like minded individuals through this group and look forward to sharing time together outside- outside of EVERYTHING IN OUR WHOLE LIVES, where we can just be free and pure without consequence- it’s hard to even imagine sometimes isn’t it and yet? here we are. Let’s hit the trail!
